Reading order

Welcome to the Catherine Cowles world of small town spice with a side of murder!

I’m so glad you’re here! If you’re new to my murdery romances, I usually recommend starting with one of my more recent series: Across the Vanishing Sky, Fragile Sanctuary, or Whispers of You are all great places to begin.

The honest truth? The longer I write, the more I feel like I’ve found my voice, and I hope my writing has only grown stronger along the way.

But there’s no right or wrong way to read. Pick your reading journey below and start wherever makes you happiest!

Reading Order FAQs

  • Further to Fall was the first book I EVER wrote. Its vibe is slightly different than rest of my books and I was just starting my writing journey, so parts are rocky on the technical writing side.

I still love this book with my whole heart, but I feel like starting here doesn't show new readers what they can expect from my stories. I would only recommend this one to fans who have enjoyed my other books and want to see where I started.
